The venue

The CIRED 2023 conference and exhibition will be held at one of the most iconic buildings in the entire City of Rome, La Nuvola.

This visionary building is located in Esposizione Universale di Roma (EUR) neighborhood. It was designed by Massimiliano Fuksas and has been acknowledged worldwide as a fine example of contemporary aesthetics, characterized by eco-friendly materials and innovative technological solutions.

How to arrive

  • By Metro (direct from Termini)
    From Termini Train Station, take the metro line B towards Laurentina.
    Get off at EUR Fermi (It is just 10 stops away from Termini Station).

 

  • From Leonardo Da Vinci Airport Fiumicino (FCO)
    There are 2 ways to get to La Nuvola from FCO:
    1) Take the train line FL1 towards Fara Sabina-Orte and stop at the Roma Ostiense station. Take the metro line B. Get off at EUR Fermi.
    2) Take the train line “Leonardo Express” towards Termini and stop at the Roma Termini station. Take the metro line B. Get off at EUR Fermi

 

  • From Ciampino Airport (CIA)
    Take the bus towards Anagnina station. There you can take the metro line A towards Battistini. Get off at Termini Station and take the metro line B towards Laurentina. Get off at EUR Fermi.

 

  • By taxi 
    The 2 airports are located 15-20 minutes from the conference centre.
